can you describe in a little more detail about the blocked mesh in fuel inlet can it be done by any mechanic or is it a specialist job requiring the removal of the pump mine is slowing down regards paul : seems to me trying to find answers to problems with my navara there are a few re'occuring themes , for three , four year and older navara,s : 1. they get slower and slower caused by : blocked very fine mesh filter in fuel inlet pipe to injector pump : 2. they suddenly lack power in 2nd 3rd or 4th gear caused by neutral sensor in gearbox sending confusing messages to ecu like " i know we are doin 80 but i am telling you we ain't in gear " : 3. they will creek and groan when on full lock climbing a kirb caused by incorrectly adjusted steering stops : 4. they will suffer massive oil pressure drops resulting in conrods being thrown out through the side of the engine block (average bill £8000)
: oh dear nissan : on top of that it is probably the noisiest thing i have driven since i was a jcb driver !
